Team Focus: Shelly Lambourne, Accounts & Customer Support Assistant

This is part of a series of posts where we introduce each member of the Daniels Healthcare team, from across the organisation. We have a compliment of approximately 30+ staff members who all live and breathe the ethos of Daniels and you’ll get to meet each one them in this series.

Shelly Lambourne joined Daniels in March 2017 and splits her time between the Accounts Department and Customer Support Team.   Having never worked in an office environment before, Shelly took a leap of faith and has hit the ground running.

Shelly’s responsibilities include processing invoices and orders, helping customers with enquiries and ensuring things run smoothly by keeping the paperwork up-to-date. She really enjoys helping our customers and can generally be found on the phone or answering emails from customers about their orders or product queries: “This is my first office role, and although there’s a lot to take in, I’ve learnt so much already. The fact that this job was split into two roles really appealed to me – I work in Accounts in the morning, then move over to the Customer Support Team after lunch for the afternoon.”

In her spare time Shelly loves travelling, having recently returned from a trip to Thailand and Singapore which she said was “incredible”. But she also enjoys city breaks in this country and is a regular visitor to London and Manchester. She says that her friends would describe her as outgoing and she’s a particularly big supporter of one of her friends who races drag cars at Santa Pod Raceway in Bedfordshire so she’s often there cheering her on (even though she says it’s very loud!).

She would recommend Daniels as a great place to work: “Anyone who has the chance to join Daniels will find a very nice atmosphere here. Everyone is extremely friendly and help each other out. I really enjoy coming into work every day”.

Imogen is the Supervisor for our Customer Support and Marketing Team. Her main responsibilities include being the Key Account Manager for non-NHS clients and driving the use of social media within our business. She is also part of our Environmental Champion team.
