Team Focus: Lilian Woodcock, Marketing Executive

This is part of a series of posts where we introduce each member of the Daniels Healthcare team, from across the organisation. We have a compliment of approximately 90+ staff members who all live and breathe the ethos of Daniels and you’ll get to meet many of them in this series.

Lily has been with Daniels for more than 15 years, having joined us way back in 2002. She is our Marketing Executive and also helps the Customer Support Team.

Lily’s responsibilities include designing and planning marketing promotions, educational posters, flyers and brochures for the NHS and private organisations. She also helps to organise conferences and healthcare-related study days.

Her favourite part of the role is developing creative proposals and taking them from concept to print stage: “Coming up with new and creative designs that spark excitement and interest is always rewarding,” says Lily. “I also enjoy working with our sales team to provide the best possible service and support for our customers.”

We love Lily being part of our team – she brings enthusiasm to the office every day. Lily says: “Working at Daniels brings new challenges and opportunities every day. I enjoy it!”.

In her spare time Lily is kept busy with her two children. She has an 8-year-old daughter and a 13-year-old son and loves relaxing with them on the sofa with some popcorn and a good film at the weekend.

During the week, being active is an important part of Lily’s life: “I’m very self-motivated and exercise makes me feel good and relaxes me, so you’ll find me on an exercise bike or lifting weights every day,” she says.

She describes herself as outgoing, adventurous and friendly; she loves to dance; and says that as a Libra, her horoscope is very accurate!

Another passion close to Lily’s heart is Mount Sinai Junior Orphanage school in Kenya which her parents set up in 1999 providing food and shelter for disadvantaged children. She volunteers at the school for two weeks each year: “The orphanage is giving these children the education they need and gives them hope for the future,” says Lily.

Imogen is the Supervisor for our Customer Support and Marketing Team. Responsibilities include driving the use of social media within our business. She is also part of our Environmental Champion team.
