Daniels receives “Key Business Partner Award”

In all areas of our work at Daniels, we look for strong, long-term, cooperative partnerships. So, when our commitment was appreciated and recognised by a company who also shares these values, we were delighted to accept a special award.

Lawson Keys is a specialist recruitment company dealing primarily in technical personnel. We have been working together for more than six years, and in that time, they have provided us with 12 members of staff here at Kidlington.

Lawson Keys has a good strong reputation in the field, and their key ethos is customer centric relationships – so much like ours! They are also big social media fans like us and use platforms like LinkedIn to find potential recruits.

This month they came to the office to present us with their Key Business Partner Award (only one other company has ever received this plaudit). And we like awards – who doesn’t?!

As well as giving us the award they were keen to have a full tour of our production site and to see how our business has developed over the years we have been working together. This gives them a much better understanding of who and what we are all about when placing personnel.

During the tour one interesting fact came to light; this specialist field of setters/engineers is 90% male-dominated!

Our Production Manager, Simon Hirst, was on hand to receive the award: “Lots of recruitment companies are willing to have our business but don’t always offer that personal service we require or don’t understand our needs. Lawson Keys work with us to find the right people and understand the urgency when we need to recruit.

“There is so much synergy between us in how we work, and our core values of relationship building and added value, which is why our business partnership has been, and will continue to be, successful”.
