The Need For Harm Reduction

Harm reduction policies aim to reduce the amount of physical harm to people without requiring the cessation of drug use. Policies provide information on a personal level and try to produce attitudinal and behavioural change by the use of condoms, drug free treatment programs, methadone and needle exchange systems.
